The WorkCentre 7500 series Multifunction printers are amazing!!  They have so many great features available I really don’t know where to start.  These products have the Color By Words feature where you can “tell” the machine how to adjust the color by using regular phrases.  You can read our earlier blog called “Color Innovation” to learn more about the color by words feature.  The WorkCentre 7500 series which includes the WorkCentres 7525 / 7530 / 7535 / 7545 and 7556, also have the Extensible Interface Platform (EIP) that we wrote about recently in the article “EIP on the MFP”. 

I think the coolest feature is the teeny, tiny support specialist in the machine.  Okay so maybe there is not a real support specialist in the machine but with the use of the EIP and the Xerox Online Support feature you have the Xerox Online Support for the WorkCentre 7500 series right on the front panel of the machine.  This is the same information that our Product Support Specialists use when resolving your printer issues.  Now you can just press a button and find the information you need to resolve your issue.   No searching on the PC, no making a phone call, though those are still options for getting support.  But this feature puts support literally at your finger tips, so it is like having a support specialist right there at the machine. 

Another great feature is being able to customize the print driver’s default application settings.  Now you can choose default settings per application, such as always printing MS Outlook emails in black-and-white, PowerPoint presentations in duplex mode, and more.  

So this machine scans, prints, faxes, copies, has great security, awesome image quality, energy saving features, support at your fingertips and folds your laundry, no not really the laundry,  just making sure your were paying attention, but, depending on the finisher, the machine can fold your output and so much more.  So look into this product by checking out the main product pageand as always you can find support on the support page, if you want to go old school or you can use the Xerox Online Support right at the machine!!
